Summer nights in the Tramuntana. Live Mediterranean.

Choosing Puerto de Sóller as your summer holiday destination is a perfect choice to enjoy the sea, the sun, the sand and the sea breeze surrounded by the Tramuntana mountain range and the incredible landscapes that it offers us during these months. But not only is it a good choice for daytime activities, but at night, all these picturesque and incredible Mediterranean places are transformed, offering us a totally different Sóller Valley. A Sóller Valley full of landscapes and magical places to enjoy your holidays when the sun goes down. So today we will talk about these idyllic places to get to know the essence of summer nights in the heart of the Sierra de Tramuntana.

SUMMER NIGHTS IN SÓLLER CENTRE
After 5 p.m. we will leave the Aimia Hotel to take the tram towards Plaça Constitució. Here we can have an aperitif in the bars and cafés of the centre and enjoy the live music, almost every night in the small square of s'Alameda. After dark we can contemplate the illuminated Church of St. Bartomeu and the Bank of Sóller, two emblems full of history that offer a totally different landscape and environment at night. We can also choose to dine in the square itself and get to know the atmosphere of the centre at night, or we can stroll and discover places such as Calle de la Luna or Gran Vía at night. Its architecture, its peace and quiet or its picturesque places where you can enjoy the local gastronomy in a more relaxed way than during the day. So we suggest you have an aperitif in the square, take some photographs and then stroll along Calle de La Luna, along Gran Vía and along Calle de La Romaguera, strolling through the centre of Sóller until you reach the Gran Hotel Sóller, where you will find Can Blau restaurant, a perfect, quiet and elegant place to have dinner before returning by taxi to the Port of Sóller for a drink, as we will explain below, or returning to the Aimia Hotel and relaxing in its facilities.

SUMMER NIGHTS IN THE PORT OF SÓLLER
Staying in Puerto de Sóller during the summer is to live a magical Mediterranean experience and enjoy unforgettable moments with family and friends, and in the evenings even more so. So it is an opportunity that we cannot miss and that we recommend you to experience during your stay in Puerto de Sóller. At around 18.00h we will leave the Aimia Hotel towards Platja d'En Repic on a seafront promenade along the bay of Puerto de Sóller. A walk full of atmosphere, cafés, ice-cream parlours, restaurants, the sea breeze, etc. Once you reach the end of the promenade you can choose to continue towards the lighthouse until you reach a picturesque bar called Es Mirall. A fantastic place to have a drink with very special views of the Port of Sóller. Or, on the other hand, we can turn back in the direction of Sa Torre, where we came from, and continue along the promenade towards the other side of the port, discovering places like Minibar, one of the best places on the promenade to enjoy the incredible sunset and a cool Mediterranean atmosphere before going for dinner.

So after our stop here, we will continue walking along the promenade towards the centre of the Port until we arrive back at the Aimia Hotel to enjoy dinner at the Airecel Restaurant, a perfect restaurant to discover the local gastronomy with fresh and seasonal products in a creative way and in an exclusive, relaxed and Mediterranean place. After dinner we will leave the Aimia Hotel towards the main quay of the Port of Sóller. Here we can choose to enjoy the atmosphere of the place having a drink in the local bars or continue our walk and go up to the Mirador de Santa Catalina, a viewpoint that we recommend one hundred percent and that gives us fantastic views of the Port of Sóller and the Mediterranean Sea. Finally, we recommend that you finish your walk at the end of the port, where you will find "La Base", a bar by the sea, perfect for ending the night.

Another perfect plan to discover the summer nights in the Mediterranean is to go up to Fornalutx, our pretty neighbouring village. To do so, we can take a taxi that will drop us off in the centre of this magical town in the Tramuntana. We will choose to go up around 18.00h and at the weekend. Although it is true that in summer there is a lively atmosphere every day, Fornalutx has a magnificent cultural programme. Concerts, theatres, exhibitions and many other activities are held at weekends in the village square or in Ca'n Xoroi, the old taffeta of the municipality, now restored and converted into a museum and cultural space. You can consult the programme on the Fornalutx Town Hall's social networks. So when you arrive we recommend that you let yourself get lost in its cobbled streets under the moonlight before enjoying the wide range of gastronomic offerings offered by the bars and restaurants in the area, which have options for all tastes. From pa amb olis and Mallorcan cuisine to pizzas, pastas and Indian. Finally, we can enjoy a concert and get to know the Mediterranean atmosphere of this fantastic town before taking a taxi, just next to the square, to return to the Aimia Hotel after a night in Fornalutx, considered one of the most beautiful villages in Spain.

SUMMER NIGHTS IN FORNALUTX
Another fantastic option to enjoy the summer nights is to go up to Fornalutx, our neighbouring municipality. To do so, we can take a taxi that will drop us off in the centre of this picturesque village in the Tramuntana mountains. We will choose to go up around 18.00h and at the weekend. Although it is true that in summer there is a lively atmosphere every day, Fornalutx has a magnificent cultural programme. Concerts, theatres, exhibitions and many other activities that you can enjoy at the weekend in the village square or in Ca'n Xoroi, the old taffeta of the municipality, now restored and converted into a museum and cultural space. A programme that can be consulted at all times on the social networks of the Fornalutx Town Hall. Once you arrive, you can stroll through its stone streets in the moonlight and enjoy the wide range of gastronomic options in the bars and restaurants in the area, which offer something for all tastes. From pa amb olis and Mallorcan cuisine to pizzas, pastas and Indian. So after dinner, you can enjoy a concert and soak up the Mediterranean atmosphere of this fantastic town before catching a taxi, just off the square, to return.

SUMMER NIGHTS IN BINIARAIX
Our last stop is ideal for lovers of nature, peace, disconnection and for those who want to experience the beauty of an authentic and magical summer night in the Mediterranean. We are talking about Biniaraix, a small village at the foot of the Barranc de Biniaraix. To get there, we can go by taxi from the Aimia Hotel. Once there, we will see that there is not much more than a bar with a tobacconist and a restaurant. However, that is where its magic lies. After arriving there, we recommend you visit Ses Rentadores de Biniaraix at night, a place where the locals used to wash their clothes, its narrow streets and contemplate the painted tiles, pieces declared World Heritage that you can see on the façades of some of the houses. After this picturesque walk, we suggest you have a drink at the Bar Bodega Biniaraix and finish the evening with dinner at Es Barranc de Biniaraix, both located in the same small square, to end a magical night before returning to the Aimia Hotel. Choosing the Sóller Valley for your holidays means choosing a unique gastronomic destination, comfortable, pleasant, cultural, magical, safe and with an infinite number of options both day and night. Let yourself be carried away and discover the summer nights in the Tramuntana. Undoubtedly a unique privilege and a fantastic opportunity to discover the essence of the Mediterranean.
